Sisters,
Have you ever had one of those days when quitting feels easier than continuing?
Not because you don’t love God.
Not because you don’t have faith.
Not because you’ve stopped believing.
You’re simply tired.
Tired of waiting.
Tired of trying.
Tired of carrying burdens that no one else can see.
If that’s where you are today, I want you to know something:
Wanting to quit doesn’t make you a failure.
It makes you human.
The Truth About Wanting to Quit
One of the biggest lies we believe is that strong people never feel like giving up.
The truth is that everyone gets discouraged.
Even the strongest women have moments when they wonder if they can keep going.
The problem isn’t feeling tired.
The problem is making permanent decisions based on temporary feelings.
Discouragement can make us forget how far we’ve already come.
It can make us focus on what’s not happening instead of what God is doing behind the scenes.
Just because you don’t see progress today doesn’t mean God isn’t working.
Seeds grow underground long before they break through the surface.
What God Reminded Me
Recently, God reminded me that He never asks us to carry tomorrow.
He gives us grace for today.
Strength for today.
Wisdom for today.
Daily bread for today.
Many times we become overwhelmed because we’re trying to solve next month’s problems while living in today’s grace.
But God doesn’t provide next month’s grace today.
He provides today’s grace today.
When I remember that, everything changes.
Instead of asking, “How am I going to do all of this?”
I simply ask, “Lord, what are You asking me to do today?”
That question brings peace.
Key Scripture
“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
Galatians 6:9 (NIV)
Notice that Scripture doesn’t say we won’t become weary.
It says not to give up.
God understands that there will be seasons when the journey feels difficult.
His encouragement isn’t to pretend we’re not tired.
His encouragement is to keep trusting Him through the tiredness.
For Today
Take a deep breath.
Stop worrying about the entire journey.
Stop trying to figure out every detail of the future.
Ask God for today’s assignment.
Then do that one thing faithfully.
Tomorrow will have its own grace.
Today has enough grace for today.
Final Encouragement
If you’re standing at the edge of quitting, I pray you’ll pause before making that decision.
Look back and remember every time God has carried you before.
Remember every prayer He has answered.
Remember every door He has opened.
Remember every battle He has already brought you through.
The same God who was faithful then is faithful now.
You may be tired, but you’re not alone.
You may be discouraged, but you’re not defeated.
Keep walking with the Shepherd.
One step.
One day.
One grace-filled moment at a time.
Stay Strong Body, Mind & Spirit
